New Bran Muffin Recipe


















Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 1/2 cups wheat bran
1 teaspoon sea salt
2 teaspoons baking soda
6 Tablespoons molasses
2 cups buttermilk
1 egg, beaten
3 Tablespoons butter (softened)
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 (or more) cups raisins (or other dried fruit)
1/2 cup sunflower meats (or other nut)

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees, grease muffin pans or line with paper cups

2. In large bowl, combine all purpose flour, whole wheat flour, wheat bran, salt, baking soda. Add molasses, egg, butter, honey, brown sugar, raisins & nuts. Stir until moist, scoop into muffin pan.

3. Bake at 350 for 19-20 minutes.
